Metropolis Opera Project serves as a non-for-profit corporation dedicated to presenting professional productions of musical literature of the operatic genre to the New York City community.
Metropolis Opera Project will serve the community by presenting commissioned new works by local composers as well as previously unknown or forgotten works which are classified outside of the traditional operatic canon. Metropolis Opera Project will create opportunities for local artists by providing them a unique outlet to showcase their talents.
